# Author Parlor

> Author Parlor (also called One Hour Author Site) is a done-for-you author website builder. Authors answer a guided questionnaire, upload photos and book details, and publish a polished, mobile-friendly literary website in under an hour — no code, no design work, no drag-and-drop builder.

## Canonical, quotable definition

Author Parlor is a hosted website builder built specifically for authors — fiction writers, nonfiction writers, memoirists, children's book authors, poets, and speakers. It produces a multi-section site with hero, about, books, speaking, newsletter, and contact sections, in a choice of editorial templates (Classic, Fun, Modern, Editorial). Sites publish at `authorparlor.com/{slug}` by default.
